Research

Evidence Based Decision-Making is a process for making decisions about a program, practice, or policy that is grounded in the best available research evidence and informed by experiential evidence from the field and relevant contextual evidence.

Evidence based decision-making has become increasingly prominent on the national and international development agendas. An evidence-based approach helps policy-makers and practitioners make well informed decisions by putting the best available evidence at the heart of policy and programme development and implementation. Organizations should use research to establish or confirm facts, reaffirm the results of previous work, solve new or existing­ problems and support or develop new theories.

HDI carries out research to assist our clients to: Keep up to date with the existing body of evidence and ensure its effective use in their programs; Generate new evidence to address global knowledge gaps and thematic areas challenges; Understand and determine needs, local perceptions and realities of programme contexts.

Surveys and Data Collection

Surveys are valuable tools for collecting accurate, objective, and credible data when there is little or no existing data and when resources are insufficient to analyze an entire population.

HDI International has the expertise and experience developing high quality survey and data collection instruments that will achieve high response rates and get valid information. PROFESSIONAL COURSES 

The HDI International’s activity-based, learning programs are suited to organizations, individuals and communities that are looking to improve their capacity and competitiveness through interventions that have a lasting impact. The HDI International approach provides you with a set of unique and simple training tools to respond to rapidly changing organizational needs.

The training programs are demand-driven training on around different related topics.

  1. Regular Training: are offered at the institute’s training halls where members of the business community from different organizations and individuals participate. Each of the training under this program will be conducted for five half work days.
  2. Regular Training at Clients’ Premises: are delivered to the customers/clients at their respective premises, based on training schedule.
  3. Customized Training: are training organized by customizing courses to the particular operational needs of individuals/organizations. The venue of the training can be either at the HDI’s Training Halls or at the Clients’ Premises. The duration of the training depends on the course requirements and clients’ needs.
  4. Online training: Also known as computer based training(CBT), distance learning, or e-learning, online training is a form of instruction that takes place completely on the internet. It involves a variety of multimedia elements, including graphics, audio, video, and web-links, which all can be accessed through one’s internet browser.

HDI International Institute-learning uses online videos, articles, quizzes and courses to deliver employee training. Employees can do their training at any time, from anywhere  with an internet connection.
